Thank you for being a part of the ALLURE Passionately Pink for the CureTM House PartyTM. I know my sister Susan would be proud to see the many ways people have found to show their passion and share the promise of creating a world without breast cancer.

As homes across the country participate in Passionately Pink for the CureTM on November 18th, we envision seeing pink everywhere, celebrating the advancements in breast health that have been achieved and reminding us how much work remains to be done

Here's wishing you and your pals a successful Passionately Pink for the Cure party day! Thanks again for opening up your homes and showing a commitment to raise breast cancer awareness! Don't forget to have your guests come to the ALLURE Passionately Pink for the Cure party website to pay their $20 contribution, which includes a $5 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Remember what Sir Elton says, "Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting!" So party hearty, and fight the good fight! Let's party for the cure!

Rocker Melissa Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, and has been an inspiration ever since. In 2005, the singer, sans hair from chemotherapy treatments, performed on the Grammy Awards with Joss Stone. That performance of Janis Joplin’s “Piece of my Heart” kick started Etheridge’s war against breast cancer. The singer recently wrote and recorded the song “I Run for Life,” which serves as an anthem for the fight. Proceeds will go toward two breast cancer charities.
