• Turn on your Xbox 360 which should connect to Xbox LIVE and notify you of a system update.  Accept the update.

The New Xbox Experience House Party is all about quickly and easily transforming your home into “movie central.

Here are some ideas that will keep the movie buzz going all night long:

• Act out a scene from a favorite movie
• Discuss the advantages of the Xbox/Netflix approach to viewing movies

Hosts and guests: share your party ideas!

• When the update is complete, your system will reboot and you should be good to go with Xbox LIVE.

It’s fast and easy to transform your TV into “movie central.”  Just follow these simple steps.

• Before Wednesday, November 19th: Ensure your Xbox 360 is connected to the Internet and set up your Xbox LIVE Gold membership.
• On Wednesday, November 19th:  Turn on your Xbox 360 which should automatically connect to Xbox LIVE and notify you of a needed system update.  Accept the update. When it’s fully downloaded, your console will reboot and you’ll be ready to jump into the New Xbox Experience.

Netflix Membership
In order to have any of 12,000 movies and TV episodes streamed directly to your TV, you’ll need to be a Netflix member.  As a host for a New Xbox Experience House Party you qualify for a FREE 2-week trial membership.

To activate your Netflix membership, follow these simple steps:

• Turn on your Xbox 360.
• Go to the Video Marketplace channel in the New Xbox Live Experience.
• Select the Netflix channel.
• Instructions will load explaining how to activate the two week Netflix membership and how to link it to your Xbox LIVE account.

• Party Day—On November 22^nd, gather your favorite movie lovers for an all-new home entertainment experience 
• Party Package—You’ll get your FREE party package a few days before your party
• Party Now—Your party may be weeks away, but the fun starts now on your party website. Send invites; post comments; upload photos & videos.
