We had a great time with some friends and neighbors. Those breadbowls are just so good. We did have quite a bit of problems using the gift card. We actuallly had to pay for them because our local store had no idea how to use them. After several weeks, the manager in our local store finally figured it out. So, we were able to enjoy the breadbowls on so many different occassions.

Although I tried, 2x, none of the local dominos would accept the gift card. I had 2 parties - with Pizza, but no bread bowls. Dominos is not that popular in my circle, so it was a nice change and fun for the kids to have dominos- a treat vs "regular pizza"

Overall, we had a great time. We did have some difficulty placing our order online. I had to resubmit several times before I could get my gift card to go through. We ordered the three cheese mac-n-cheese, the italian sausage marinara and the chicken alfredo. I thought for sure that the three cheese mac-n-cheese would be a hit with the kids, but they were not that impressed. The italian sausage seemed to be a bit dry, but the chicken alfredo was a big hit! We ordered some extra pizzas which were also a big hit and watched the movie and played games. Overall, it was a fun night!

I placed an order with Domino's today with the manager for tomorrow party. She was very nice and has offered pizza for cheaper price and will throw things extra for the guests.
I went to Dollar Store and they had Patriotic color tinsels, plates and such and i realized it was the exact same colors as Domino's so i bought some to reconized Domino's logo colors for decorations! I also downloaded and print Domino's logo for decors as well.
Thank you for picking me as host since i had lot of fun planning and can't wait until the party tomorrow. Thanks house party!!

We had a blast! This was so much fun since it was Kentucky Derby Day! The kids loved the pasta bowls! Of course, I spent more than I should have, but it was worth it. We gave the DVD to the person who's horse came in first and it went to my Carla's son, Joseph. Everyone went home a winner, with a party pack of coupons, candy, coloring books for the kids and assorted favors. Thank you so much Domino's and House Party for a great time. My guests really loved the Domino's food and wil definitely be getting food there. The cheesesteaks were great! Thanks again!

Recently you might have heard about two ex-Domino's workers posting a false and malicious YouTube video. Domino's has dismissed the two mean-spirited former employees responsible along with filing felony charges against them. We want to reassure all Domino's Savory Surprise hosts that this is not the way we conduct business in our 8,700 stores in 60 countries around the world.
Please visit: youtube.com/watch?v=KIc0IW-F9k4 if you would like to watch a video response from Domino's Pizza's President, Patrick Doyle.

I have to agree with emach12, I too have worked many years in the food service industry in the past and I have never seen something like this occur and I too believe it is an isolated incident. I just watched the president of Dominos in his youtube response and they seem genuinely upset and are taking this whole thing extremely seriously. I think they responded in the absolutely correct fashion. Keep up the good work.

For our party, we will be having Xbox 360 games in the basement (we will have 2 tvs and 2 xboxes hooked together) and the movie will be playing in the front room. So those that want to play games can do so and those wanting to watch the movie can do so.
We will have chocolate chip cookies, popcorn and other snacks to eat as well.
All the homeschoolers are looking forward to it.

Love the idea of the kids making pasta necklaces! Also like the idea of getting a mac & cheese bowl for the kids. That's the one that didn't really appeal to me - going to get 2-3 of the others and some pizza, but think I might get that one now for the kids to enjoy. We're actually having ours on Sunday instead of Saturday, and I'm really looking forward to it! :)

Domino’s versions are individually sized: single-meal portions of chicken alfredo, primavera, mac and cheese, Italian sausage marinara, and chicken carbonara pastas, baked into edible bowls.
Yum! ;)

Well I hate that you guys had such a horrible experience. I guess I got lucky as I had no problems at all. Just great service and great food! Seems like Domino's really needs to check into why the stores were not accepting them.
