We loved the party theme. The party was easy to throw and I only had to shop for food and drink. How fun. We enjoyed the movie (all ages) and the party favors were a huge hit! Thanks!

What a great party! Everyone enjoyed theirselves, from the youngest to the oldest and everyone in between. The movie was great - Disney movies always are :) - the cd was great and even recognizable to the older of us. The kids absolutely loved their goodies - they kept their backpacks on all night! Everyone took turns "casting spells" with the wand - that was a huge hit! The kids had fun playing games together. The whole night was a huge success - thank you for letting us host the house party - WE LOVED IT!

Thank you so much House Party! This is the first party I have been selected to host and I thought I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Shortly after I applied, I found out I would be out of town on the party dates. My children and I were going to be visiting "Nana" in NJ. Well, with the help of my mother, we were able to contact some friends and relatives with children who were all too happy to be guests at our Wizards of Waverly Place Island Magic House Party. We listened to the CD, watched the movie, ate, drank and had fun. Thank you so much for the wonderful party goody bags, everyone was thrilled. Although I couldn't upload the photos until we got home, they are up now. I can't wait for the next House Party!

The wand had my 4 year old busy for hours. The CD is now a perminant disc in the car. 'o o O it's magic, you know' - it's heartwarming hearing your own kids singing together like that. :)

Our Brownie troop had the BEST time!! We had "Sub Station" subs, popcorn with M&Ms, cookies and Tropical Fruit Punch. We made a treasure chest by spray painting a styrofoam cooler and used that at the end of the Treasure Hunt and for the prizes won during the commercial break trivia questions!!

Party night was one of the best evenings of the entire summer. To make it even better we had a birthday in our house the same day. Everyone showed up on time and absolutely loved the bag of goodies. Can not wait to host another party.
Thanks House Party!

Our party was a great end to the summer. Our Luau party was right after we spent a week down at the Jersey shore. We planned the menu and decorated the basement before we went on vacation and were ready to party when we got back home.
We decorated the basement with tropical lanterns, grass skirts, grass curtains and beach balls.
We picked 4 recipes from the party favor section: pigs in the beach blanket, stones of melon salad, smoothies, and crazy cut out sandwiches. The food was a big hit. The girls drank their smoothies out of plastic coconuts which my daughter found at Target.
The girls did the word search, played freeze dance with the sound track, and ate before the movie started.
The bags/favors were a huge hit especially with the moms.
My daughter had a great time planning for the party and watching the movie with her friends. She especially likes the song Magic on the soundtrack. I like that it's a remake and can sign along too.
I don't know who had a better time my daughter or I.

We all loved it! My son came over for the movie and food, but he didn't want to be around the houseful of girls the rest of the night. The girls have been talking about this party all week, and most of them have taken their notebooks to school to showoff and use.

The hostess of our party, my daugher Hannah, loved every stage of this experience, from planning to the actual party. She was so grateful that I applied for and threw the party, she made me a "Thank you" book. What a wonderful experience this has been!

We had a great time! Everyone loved their bags , leas, posters and wizard notebooks! We listened to the music while we ate, and then we played the mad libs game on the back of the recipe book. Boy, did we make up a crazy story. Then we had our treasure hunt and watched the movie. Had to have popcorn with the movie, of course! After the movie, we played flashlight tag outside with the magic wand and played the trivia game.
Thanks for helping us to have a great time!!! It was a blast and a great way to start off the school year!

I do not know where to start. House Party, you made my daughters the happiest kids in the world. They each invited friends and we ended up having 12 girls. We started the night with a meet and greet lea reception. We proceded to a pizza dinner and then we all made a MAGICAL craft. After the craft we went downstairs and played Pin the Nose on Alex. The girls then procede to the familyroom where they got comfy laying on their pillows on the couch and the floor. When the movie was over they took turns telling scary stories and screaming rather loudly. We then called the girls up to make their own ice-cream sundae. As the girls were about to leave we gave them all their bags filled with goodies. This was definitely the most memerable event of our summer.

First of all we'd like to thank house party and Disney for this amazing oportunity, the kids had a blast. We had kids ranging from age 4 to 13, boys and girls.
We were super excited when chosen to host the Wizards of Waverly Place Party! We let close friends and family know about the party and patiently waited for our party pack to arrive and Meg's face lit up when we came home from school to a box full of treats for the party.
On the night of the party the guests were given their goody bags as they arrived, which they absolutely loved. A lot of spells were written in there spellbooks before the night was over. The soundtrack was loved by all (especially the track "Magic") even the parents sang along proving, as always, Disney has no age boundaries. ~grin~ The wand was fabulous and the kids had fun taking turns with it, although we did have a few tears over sharing, they were quickly resolved when I pretended to cast a spell "these tears we can beat by sticking your rump to your seat" (we had a lot of fun with that one and lots more silly spells were cast).
The kids spread was a combo of fresh fruit, pizza, juice boxes and popcorn once the movie started! The movie was fantastic with just the right balance of humor and excitement. Ohh and we did the treasure hunt the kids loved it!! All in all the kids really had a magical, top notch night!
Thanks again house party!

We made this party a Wizards of Waverly Place/End of Summer/Back To School party. The girls were age 11-13 and they all had a great time. We bought some island themed party supplies and tiki cups. The girls ate and drank root beer (ok, not very tropical but they loved it) and they watched the movie, giggled and just had a great time. That magic wand sure got a work out too! They took turns being silly with the magic wand. We put the big poster up on the wall and took a group shot on the couch with the poster in the background (pics to be posted soon). Toward the end of the party we passed out the goodies. Everyone loved the items from the party pack. This was a lot of fun and we look forward to hosting more house parties!
