My boys had the best time at their party. Apparantly thier friends did as well, since I am told that it is the talk of the school. They loved the masks and used the glow sticks as mini light sabers. The had the best time, and they are all hooked on the show now!

Thank you House Party and Cartoon Network, the party was a complete blast for the kids! We had 30, 10 year old boys (23) & girls (7) attend the party. The food ideas from everyone on the site were just fabulous. As crazy as they all were for the Jedi duel, there was nothing but quiet children when we started the show, they LOVED it! My son felt like the coolest kid on the planet after his party!

Cartoon Network is on in our house from the time the kids get up until the time they go to bed at night. I even find myself watching it when the kids aren't around. There are so many great shows on there such as Chowder and Flap Jack, Ben 10, Transformers and the list goes on and on. It is a great channel for the whole family.

Questions to be considering now:
- What should I serve? Should I do a Star Wars™ theme for the food and drinks?
- How am I going to decorate?
- What activities should I plan for the kids before and after the sneak-peek DVD?
- What “extras” will make the party more fun?
Tell us about your plans!

Hi Everyone! We just had our party and IT WAS FABULOUS! The kids were beyond excited. We started at 5:00, with snacks, then pizza and yoda soda. Dessert was red velvet cupcakes with yoda green and light sabre blue frosting. The biggest hit was the Darth Malts (vanilla ice cream floating in Cheerwine). I've just posted a few photos here http://houseparty.com/party/74063 May the force be with everyone still to have their parties; it was so much fun! Thanks Houseparty and CN

What a blast the kids had at our party. We had our party yesterday, and the kids had so much fun. My 11 year old son, really helped plan, decorate and prepare for the party and even played host with the kids. We took a number of ideas from the HP site and from other HP members. We played the Jedi game that is listed at party ideas and games on www.kids-birthday-party-guide.com/star-wars-birthday-party.html, that someone here had listed. We downloaded coloring pages, so when kids arrived they we offered crayons and coloring pages to get them in the Star Wars spirit.
We downloaded pictures and transfered them onto iron on decals and then put them onto tote bags that the kids could use for Halloween. Inside we put little Star Wars party favors that we had gotten at our local party store.
To start, we served the pretzel light sabers, which were super easy to make and a great hit. Even the adults loved these. A little while later, we served pizza (on Star War plates of course).
We then watched the dvd. The kids really love watching this and they were all intriqued. They all said that this show was great. Afterwards, the kids enjoyed cupcakes and then played with the masks....which they so loved. The masks were such a hit!!! They even dualed with the light saber that was sent and two others that we had on hand. They took turns playing outside with them and had such a blast.
Overall, this was one of the best parties that we had. The kids adore the masks! They were so excited with the show and the ideas here at party central from both HP and the members were wonderful.
Thanks for letting us host this party and for the fun time!!!
