I have to say that I was very dissapointed, never mind embarrassed, when no pasckage arrived. I even emailed my situation and let House Party know what had happened. I had already went out and got at least 80% of the things I had planned for the party. Needless to say the dissapointment in all those girls eyes when I had to explain Why we couldnt have the Barbie Party we had all planned. I was able to do a little something with all of the children at least, but I know it did not make up from all the excitement looking forward to this very anticapated party to complete letdown. Anyway, I am sincerley happy that by the stories I have read on here it was so very nice to see everyone had the good time they all had anticcapated and planned.. I hope everyone had the good time they had expected to have..Congrats to you all!

The girls had a blast! And the boys were trying to get in on the fun, too. Can you imagine a whole room full of kids (and their parents) trying to learn the Barbie dance? What fun!
Each guest had to dress up as their favorite Barbie (or Ken for boys).
In addition to the party information on the site and the goodies that were in the box, I found some Barbie themed giveaway items at Target and at Party City that I thought the kids would like. Additionally, my little artist, Sydney, insisted on a Barbie craft that all of the girls could participate in. We "bedazzled and bejeweled" the shades and the tiaras. We also made Barbie bookmarks (which I had laminated the following day) for each attendee.
My daughter is having an "after party" this Saturday AKA another party to give the bookmarks to the kids who attended the party this past Saturday. Along with the bookmarks, the kids will receive a Barbie coloring book and a box of crayons.
After the designated time for the party was over, the kids hated to leave. Four of them ended up staying overnight.
Thanks, House Party, for selecting us! This was a great experience for all involved!
How was your party?

Our party was a real success, but my daughter was a little disappointed. The party day was the day of her birthday party so she received the dolls as a gift and loved them, but she didn't really like the rest of the party pack. We watched the video before the party and she thought it was a little dumb so she wouldn't do it for her party. Also, I found the tiaras didn't stay on very well & the sunglasses were a bit too small (the ones that weren't broken when we got them). I'm thankful to HouseParty for all they gave us & we did still have a wonderful party.

We had a "dance off" to the DVD & awarded the dolls to the top 3 dancers. It was hilarious & very entertaining! The girls were so serious & became really competitive. They wanted those dolls!! Although we only received the 3 dolls, i had some other prizes to give to the runner ups. Everyone was happy with what they received.

The girls had fun. They brought their Barbies, danced, ate pizza and pink cupcakes. The girls took home goodie bags with treats for their dolls and for them along with a pink balloon. The moms had a blast too!

LOL!!We had a similar situation! We originally had the party all planned out for last week when my daughter started saying her tummy & head hurt. Then 102.9 temp plus throwing up, etc. She wound up having an ear infection in both ears and conjunctivitus in both eyes! To say the least, the party had to be cancelled and she was upset! We wound up having a small party with her and another friend today during the USC game with the adults downstairs & the girls were so happy. We had cupcakes and played with our Barbies, plus played dress-up with the glasses. Yes the tiaras broke, though they were cute. I loved all the tableware. Now, issues with the DVD...it took forver to start playing and when it did the girls both said in unison "Is that it?" I playd both parts and they were very bored with it. Both of them intermittently tried a few steps, but then went off to play with their dolls. When it was over I asked them if they wanted to see it again and both said no. So....HouseParty, the Barbie's and sunglasses/plates, were a big hit, but the DVD/dance, not. Thank you though for a great fun time and for making the girls enjoy a very happy afternoon!

We just wanted to say thanks for all the goodies, because we had a blast!~* The girls went Barbie crazy, and had the time of their life...Sure we had some set backs with the short dance video, and the 3 dolls instead of the 6, but we still made it a great party...It was adorable watching the girls dance to the barbie video, and have them making the dolls dance as well......lol.....Thanks again HP!~*

What a blast the girls are having a wonderful evening. The party favors were the greatest. All the guest thought the party was the best ever. We did buy 6 barbies so every girl had a barbie gift. Just couldn't see everyone not getting a barbie. Maybe that was was the trick to get us to buy more barbies. Oh well the 3 barbies and party favors were worth it. You can see them wearing the crowns, sunglass and doing the barbie dance. Thanks House Party!!!!!!

I started my party early today and they all just left exausted! They loved all the things I had planned and the dancing, but the hit of the party was when I brought out the Barbie cake I had made. The girls were jumping up and down screaming! Thank you again for a night that these girls will never forget!

I never saw these before so I googled "Barbie Cake" and tons of pictures/videos/instructions came up. After my girls had an amazing time at the dance party they were invited to I think I'll make one for the next birthday. Thanks for the awesome idea.

We had our party today! It was awesome! The girls danced like crazy! We had pink rice krispie treats, strawberry whoppers, pink wafer cookies, popcorn with pink chocolate drizzle, and pink lemonade. I had the girls guess how much candy was in a jar and the winner got to take that home. Then the girls did the Fashionista Quiz to find out what style they were. The girls loved it!
