Hard to believe, but your party date is not that far away. Hosts across the country are planning their Hasbro Game Night parties right now.

As you begin, ask yourself:

  • What should I serve?
  • How should I decorate?
  • What other activities should I plan?
  • What can I do to make the party great?

Share your party plans! The more we share, the better parties we’ll have.

We will have more than one game night also... everyone wants to come, but due to schedules, all at different times! This will be great to stay inside out of the heat and play some games with friends.

We are having 2 game nights. My daughter just graduated from high school and is having her friends over the night after our party. Should be a great time for all. We can't wait to play the new trivial pursuit. I'm planning to try some new dips and toppers to go with the Wheat thins and Triscuits.

I'm going to make awards for the winners: I went to a craft store and bought some small unfinished wood plaques, painted them, and then used actual Scrabble letters to write out 'Game Night Winner.'

every person I invited has canceled! We recently moved to this area so I invited every person we knew here and no one can come. Any ideas? We're thinking about going back home and having a party with our friends there.

I'm having alot of people RSVP that they are starting their summer vacation and going out of town that weekend. BUmmer! I should still have a good turn out though, probably 14-16 people. We invited my 9 year olds friends and their Mom's for a Mom/Daughter jump start summer party. I bought other Hasbro games and each girl will get to take a game home with them, I have Taboo, so that will be a prize, and I bought Twister, Sorry, Life, etc....they can pick based on a raffle. Should be exciting! I am trying a "pie" theme, based on the Trivial pursuit for food....pizza, cheese wedges, fruit wedges, cupcakes painted like a "pie". Cant wait. My party in a box is suppose to come tomorrow!!! Whoohoo! I am so excited that this is my first house party!

I'm thinking of adding in a few customized questions into the Taboo game, maybe as an ice breaker. The word people will have to guess will be a friend's name, so the clues will have to revolve around that person and it will be interesting to see how well my friends know each other. This will tie nicely into the Trivial Pursuit Bet You Know It game too, since the new feature of that is how well you think your friends know the answers.

I love the twister table cloth idea. I will definitely check our local dollar store for related items and prizes. I will make some reward certificates and try to find prizes that are made by hasbro. I think I will set up an area for the smaller kids to play as well & find something for them..I have 3 myself and that way people don't HAVE to find a sitter. My (first) game night is girls only, so maybe my hubby will watch the lil ones!! I am serving pizza along with the crackers and Reese's Pieces and probably some cheese and a variety of dips!!
