We do game night once a month just as a lot of people here seem to. Our FAVORITE game is catch Phrase...i just picked up a music electronic Catch Phrase for $6...ok, I bought like 5 of them. Never know when you might need a gift. LOL Anyway, with the Trivial Pursuit game night, I am going to theme, with the 'pie' shape that everyone knows so well from the Orig. Trivial Pursuit game. Gourmet pizzas cut in triangles, Cheese Cake and other triangle things I have come up with. Then of course, we'll toss in veggies and dip, fruit etc.

This is my 1st party too and I am so excited! (Even though most people are just texting me to say they'll be there!) Anyways... we are doing finger foods like wings and veggies and of course a cheese platter to have with the crackers. Any decorating ideas anyone has would be awesome if they could share. :)

I can't wait to host this party it is my first one with House Party and my first party since I had a heart procedure. It will be good to see family and friends. I am having a special room for the kids to play and it will be filled with games and videos. The adults will be in a different room with our games. I am doing home made pizzas with everyone bringing their favorite toppings, I will have chips for the kids. Later in the evening we will be making homemade ice cream again with everyone bringing their favorite flavor if they want we will be making vanilla and banana either way. I have spoke to several of my guests and they are all excited about coming and most will be bringing a guest. It looks like my guest count is close to 20 now. I am really looking forward to getting my game pack so I can start making my goodie bags for all my guests, everyone kids and adults will leave with something.

So excited to execute this party!!! I am planning on having the girls over with their kids. The adults can try out the new games while the kids play out side and have their own fun! I plan on serving finger foods such as dips with chips, veggie platter, cheese plate and assorted finger sandwiches. In terms of decorating I am going to make a huge banner to display across the kitchen. I am also going to dress the kitches with steamers. What's everyone else doing???

We currently host/attend a monthly family game night and this is fantastic since it falls on the same night that we were supposed to host. One of our favorite games to play with the kids is Catch Phrase so I plan to start with that one since some of our kids are younger and still learning to read, then they will continue to play with the older kids while us adults try out the new trivia pursuit. I plan to do chocolate fondue with a variety of fruits and cakes for dipping, drinks, crackers and cheese platter. Our friends will also bring treats to share.
