Your HERSHEY'S BLISS Chocolate Party

Some questions to consider as you get the bliss underway:

  • How am I going to decorate?
  • What’s the best way to set up the tastings for the three varieties of HERSHEY'S BLISS chocolate. Separate rooms? All together? One flavor at a time?
  • Which “blissful” activities will most engage my guests? Click here for suggestions.
  • What “extras” will help create a totally blissful atmosphere for my guests?

Music? Lighting?

Let's Deliver A Little Bliss Since I only have 2 friends and they live far away, and no family except my son Brandon, we decided to take our party on the road and Deliver a little BLISS to the few people we know!

I hosted a chocolate and wine party. I found a site with perfect pairing information. Everyone enjoyed themselves and some took home not only a bag of treats, but also some wind. We made chocolate dipped apricots, spinach and artichoke dip, veggies and ranch, hummus and pita chips, crackers and cheese, and lots and lots of chocolate. My sister brought a wonderful cake for dessert, too. We had markers recommending how to match the chocolate to the wine. the back patio area is large and very tropical, with a fire pit, so our party night was perfect! We all had a great time enjoying chocolate, wine and each other's company and coversations. THANKS to Hershey's and House Party! Everyone was happy with the gift bags that they took home. One even came back for more! My daughters put the bags together and were amazed at everything we received for this party. I thought my favorite would be The Dark Chocolate, but the Meltaway was surprisingly good. Thanks for selecting us and giving us an opportunity to share in such a fun way.

Thank you for the chance to host this party. Our guests were delighted and everyone loved testing the Hershey's Bliss. Everyone was impressed with the gift bags that they went home with and we even spent time making scrap books of special moments with our families and speaking about each photo to each other. What we thought would be a 2 hour party, turned into 4, which was all right by us. Thanks for letting our family and friends have a blissful day. We voted on our favorite Bliss. The Dark Chocolate won first place, followed by the Milk Chocolate, then the Milk Chocolate Meltaways. But the vote was very close for all of them. Everyone agreed that the Hershey's Bliss tastes like an elegant, upscale, indulgent, chocolate. Thanks again for choosing us as a host.

We had to have our party late because of illnesses so we combined the aveeno, ben10, and hershey's all into one and everyone had a blast! The kids were all entertained while us adults got to mingle and relax. I have to say hands down all my guests loved the Hershey Bliss with the meltaway centers! Those were the best. My personal favorite is the Bliss with almonds, had to go buy a couple bags for the party just so everyone else could try them too!

I forgot to mention, the $1.00 off coupon was a real treat as well. I was able to email all guests so they could print their own coupon. Thanks Hershey's for providing this "blissful" treat.

The winner for our group was the Hershey Bliss Meltaways. By far the overall crowd favorite with the Dark Chocolate a close second. We love Hershey's. Nothing says love like Hershey's.

The cookbook was a great success for our party. Some of our old favorites were compiled to share with our guests. This way they will have a keepsake from our party.

Well, our plans changed. We were going to go with women's night in, but my FIL ended up in the hospital. So now mom and I are going to co-host a Mom & Daughter Dessert Party. The neat thing is that we will have 4 generations of moms and daughters for my family (from grandma down to great-granddaughter). I found some online games and got some soothing bath products for prizes. Also grabbed some KInG SIZE Hershey Bars for door prizes. For the goodie bags we are putting some of the bliss (mixed flavors) into treat bags with special toppers we are making. And if I get the time, we are going to make greeting cards and/or bookmarks with a chocolate theme for each guest. We aren't decorating much since this was last minute, but we will have a gorgeous table spread with my vintage milk glass dishes and hershey kiss chocolate chip cookies, german chocolate cupcakes made with Hershey's chocolate, chocolate covered strawberries (with, you betcha--Hershey's chocolate) and a few other chocolate goodies. We are excited and can't wait to have a good time with our moms, daughters and friends. THANKS to Hershey's and especially House Party! ETA: Forgot to add that I'm also going to take pics of each guests by themselves and have stamped journal squares for them to write their favorite bliss moment to create a great scrapbook with the gift they sent in out packages. It'll be a bliss book to pull out and review when things get hectic. We might even have a "pass it around" thing if we know one of us is have a stressful time and need a little bliss.

What a fun time!! I couldn't wait anymore and had my party a day early. I brought in the gift bags to work (that is 90% women) and they all loved it! It was great to try all of the different flavors and hand out the party favors! Hersey's Bliss is definately on our grocery list as special treats for ourselves! Our office favorite was a tie between the meltaway center chocolates and the dark chocolate. Thank you Houseparty and Thank You Hershey!!
