Our Party went great. We had loads of fun we even tossed some washers. OK Spolier alert don't read if you have not seen the dvd. I can not beleive that TJ is not coming back. And a few others. I wonder why and are they on the road but not on the show?
Our party is still rocking and rolling. Not much time to keep you all posted.. but needless to say..we are having lots of fun. Everyone really enjoyed watching the DVD. Thanks History and Houseparty!!!
I had my party yesterday because, well as truckers you know it isn't a nine to five job and Dermot has to work today. The party went really well. I set up the house to look like a truck stop. We had candy displays and a movie room for the youngins. I decorated a white coconut cake with a road, a big truck and Ice Road Truckers banner. We had ribs, burgers, hot dogs, hot wings and anything you can think of on the side. After eats, we squished into my living room to watch the DVD. Fun as the DVD is, the show is much better. We had door prizes and Walter got the Freightliner built to scale. (Sorry I forgot to take a pic of that.) I had the goodies Ice Road Truckers gave us, plus an assortment of trucker tees and mugs I could find at the local TA Truck Stop. All in all we had a blast!! Can't wait for Season Two to start.
Less than 2 hours to my party and the food and decorations are done and the drinks are on ice,we are so ready for this and it has been alot of fun to plan,thank you History Channel and House party for such a great party.
This has been so much fun to plan and count down the days. We can not wait. And we only have 30 mins.
