I threw out the cups and things as well. I see what people are talking about now. I did not use my discount coupon however. It was really sad to see that sears already had that exact discount going on and the coupons could not be used in conjuncture with the sale. I hope the companies learned somthing from this experience???

Since I have box like cabinets, and a bit of room underneath. I was thinking of putting up shelving and have it be rounded so no one knocks their head on it. My question is what type of wood and shelving brackets should I use that would hold up about 10 cookbooks and or small appliances like a toaster. Is there a type of primer that you would suggest to cover the ugly bright yellow that is currently under the contact paper? I have a kenmore stove that the pilot lights are now taking a little bit to start. Is this normal? Or do I need a new stove? I am disappointed in what was/wasn't sent and the condition. However, since I was going to do a makeover anyway.. Answers to these questions would help greatly! Thanks.

If kenmore can't live up to what was originally promised in the party package, it would have been best to just cancel the party, this really looks bad on kenmore! Especially the condition of the party pack, don't get me wrong, it is appreciated, but not what was promised, when planning these parties, keep in mind that your party hosts actually tell people what you tell them! I promised certain things and now I can't deliever?!?! Sears and Kenmore makes enough to do this right! It should have been done right!

We love the fact that we have a very open floor plan.....with vaulted ceilings. Our kitchen/dining room/entryway/ and living room are all one big airy open space. However, since living here and actually using the space, we've realized it is difficult to choose colors and theme because all these areas are connected. We have finally decided to do our makeover a "beach house" theme with the kitchen walls like a cabana....white and yellow wide vertical stripes. Our cabinets and counters are already white...which we can have as a crisp accent. what to do next is the question? hummmmm.....

I could certainly use some ideas for making the most of my limited kitchen space. Our home was built in 1954 and has a tiny kitchen. My husband and I both love to cook and bake, and we run into each other... a lot! We are updating our kitchen, but it's not in the plans right now to knock out any walls to make more space. Any suggestions for maximizing what we have?
