My party is tomorrow but I'm already setting my backyard up and decorating. I'm making coconut shrimp, shrimp & chicken kebobs, yellow rice, corn on the cob, tortilla chips & salsa, cheese burgers, fruit salad, and pineapple upside down rum cake. of course the frozen margaritas, daquiris, and pina colodas will be flowing!

My husband and daughter are decorating the front yard. They are putting out a white sand beach and a rustic looking sign saying "Miami 245 miles, New York 2,427 miles, Margaritaville 30 feet". It is going to be so much fun. All of my guests are really geared up.

I ran a trial run of the drink maker and it was awesome. I can't wait for the party...everyone is so excited. I'm actually having 3 events because some people can't make it to the main party! I went to the Dollar Tree and bought these "shark fin" visors and also "parrot head" visors. They have a lot of great decorations - inflatable limbo sticks, palm trees, flamingos and all these hanging banners. They have great $1 (glass)margarita glasses as well since I need more than I already have. I have a feeling this machine is going to running all summer long!

So excited for the party! We have been experimenting and making all sorts of goodies with our drink maker! I even got really bold and whipped up a batch of gazpacho (chilled soup)-perfect! GYPSY-I also agree with you about the e-bay folks. How completely shameful! I hope HP has a way to find out who these people are and bans them from future parties! People like that ruin the experience for the rest of us. It's almost 5:00pm...get out the drink makers!

Got our invitations printed and ready. Check out our site for pics. www.houseparty.com/party/62986. Great idea! They look like treasure maps. We have all our decorations, the limbo bar, and the hubby made a "tiki" bar. We've been making drinks everynight. We plan on having games and contests for prizes all night long. We downloaded the Cargo logo and made t-shirts with transfer iron-ons. Can't wait til Saturday!

A fun idea for prizes....our liquor store has miniatures of the flavored Margaritaville tequilas. I am going to pair them with a hula girl bobble doll and a few artificial flowers in a gift bag. They are going to be great for our loudest shirt, and other winners!

Woohoo! Just did a "virgin" run for the office -- since that is where I had it shipped and had to explain the two boxes. The machine was a BIG HIT--even without tequila!!! Everyone was surprised at how smooth the margaritas turned out. I have a couple fewer coupons to give out at the actual party. . . Wish I had my camera with me to show you the smiles!

We have been experimenting with our Margaritaville machine and think we have gotten our frozen concoctions down! My husband is just amazed by it! It's like a new power tool for him. The kids have also enjoyed sampling all of the fruity non-alcoholic drinks we will be preparing for the under age guests at the party. GYPSY, I totally agree with you! This is my first time hosting and I can't believe you actually saw these on e-bay! I hope they get caught too, that way those of us who really are doing what we are supposed to, have more of a chance for future parties. I am really excited about ours and can't wait to show it off at our MC party!!

I have been having so much fun with mine. It is great for fruit smoothies in the morning, or slushies for the kids, the ice is great for sno cones. We have found so many extra uses. What i would really like to say is that, this was a great party package, that so many people really wanted. Now I am seeing the whole kits, down to the umbrellas on e-bay. To those of you who do this, I hope you get caught and aren't allowed to sign up for anymore parties. I for one am honored to be a part of this, and can not believe how generous this package was. Then to turn around and not do the one thing they ask you to, and the one thing they ask you not to do. Shame on you. You are not a parrot head at heart!!!
