The party went off without a hitch! It was fun and everything was perfect from Martha Stewart crafts. Everyone enjoyed trying the new products, and the great projects they got to take home. Nothing is left but an array of glitter clinging to our forehead and clothes. Now what about this evalutation the hostess is suppose to fill out. Anyone know where to find it?

I'm planning on a great salad with all the fixings. Most of my guests are very diet-conscious so I wanted to provide something they were comfortable with. I've also got a veggie plate, fruit plate and a cake for those who want something sweet. I'm planning on having cookies ready for those who want to take something home in their gift box.

I'm getting excited! I'm hosting a late afternoon party, so we will be enjoying wine, frozen sangria (new recipe to experiment on my guests), home made black bean and corn salsa with chips, hot crab dip (if the hubby gets the stove fixed - long story), and stuffed dates. I am famous for my brownies, so I'll make a few batches to enjoy and send home with my guests. This afternoon I'll be hunting for nice looking pine cones. I went to Michaels and bought a few ornaments and a set of Martha Stewart Crafts white glitter (3 types with a bottle of glue - used a 50% coupon). The picture in the box is of glittered pine cones that are beautiful. I'll make a few to send home with my friends and will have some for them to try also. Several friends have grade school daughters, so that would be a great holiday craft for them to do with their child. Best wishes for all the parties out there - enjoy!!!!

I am having my party tomorrow night so I wanted to make the crafts to see the level of difficulty! So far the candy box was very simple. On to the card (this seems much harder because of the edge punches)!

I think it says on the coupon that you cannot combine it with a sale. My michaels won't let me use more than one coupon at a time but I got a circle cutter for $7 and more glitter for 2.50.. I also glittered some tiny pumpkins as decorations for the party. pics. soon!!
