Here’s a quick checklist to help you make the most of your House Party:

  • Finalize your menu — What special treats do you have planned? Have you asked your guests to bring anything to the party?
  • Organize your kitchen area — The party takes place in your kitchen — do you have a prep area planned out? Are you prepared with baking tools, cookie sheets, and extra ingredients?
  • Check the camera — Say cookie! Capture all the fun your guests are having, so you can upload pics of it all to the party site afterward!
  • Plan party activities — Download fun items and party favors to keep your guests entertained.

I'm making aprons and pearl necklaces - like June Cleaver! (We're grandmas!) - Just finishing them all up! I was surprised that most everyone I invited accepted! I'm using my living room and my kitchen - had to move furniture out of LR into guest room! lots of extra tables and Kitchenaids - looks great! I have a lot of different recipes to adapt the mixes to - the girls are so excited - they're each bringing a "mix-in" like butterscotch chips or almonds - they don't know what they're going to make. I even have a lady coming who I met in line at the craft store buying decorating icing! To top it off, its snowing!

Did my last minute errands today for the party. I finally found the double chocolate chunk mix, and I plan on making those coconut bon bon bars that came in our gift pack. I have a busy day of decorating, cleaning and pre baking today. And printing out of lots of things betty crocker.
