Everyone enjoyed the party, they found the gallery was easy to use and made photo gifts.

The only complaint my guests had was that the coupons expired too soon. They wished they had more than one week to take photos and make photo gifts.

I distributed the pass-along coupons and the same complaint was that the coupons expired too soon. so I don't think that as many people made the photo-gifts because of that. I know a lot of my friends wanted to take photos over Thanksgiving and use the coupons for gifts but didn't have enough time. One suggestion would be to have the pass-along coupons expire at least a month after the party.

Not one of my guests could get the coupon code to work. I tried to complete my order today on photo books & Christmas cards & it gave me 48 cents off my cards & about 10% off my photo book. Talk about bait & switch!! Huge disappointment. Are all the House Parties like this, it was my first?

I would have felt a lot better if I could have offered my guests something free to make to try out the site. I think they were a little disappointed but they had fun. I uploaded a few of the pics I took. I would have also appreciated a little more guidance on what exactly to do at the party, I felt a little lost after a little while.

Wow....we LOVED it! the photo items were a HUGE hit! zeveryone especially loved the photo book. I had recently taken some pictures of my niece(she lives with me) and had hoped that we could use them as her senior pictures. I had some printed at other sites..and we liked them a lot. But, this photo book really set them off. In fact, my sister says she's going to order one foe herself! I kind of "killed two birds with one stone" thanks to the wonderful photo mug! I showed it to everyone at my partie(s) & they thought it was an excellent idea for the upcoming holiday season. When I ordered mine, I put pictures of my kids on it so I could give it to their grandparents(weren't at my parties) as an anniversary gift! I used the card for the same occasion as well. So I got to show off all of these lovely gifts...and I will get to give some as lovely gifts as well!

I recommend that you give guests a free SET of holiday cards if they upload their image and create their card AND order their card at the time of the party. That way they order SOMETHING, they are motivated to register for the site, actually use the site at the party and get a real party "favor" (the cheapest cards are fine as long as they get more than one). I believe this would encourage them to go back and use the coupon before the expiration date. I think that KG would get a much better follow-thru rate if guests were strongly encouraged to do something (and get something in return) while they are actually at the party. KG could also create a dialogue with those customers since they are sure of their source.

Thanks Kodak for the photo books, mug and cards. I was able to use my my entire $75.00 credit to order whatever I wanted up to that amount. That was the best deal ever! The party went well. My guests loved the items I created. I would have liked for my guests to have gotten some sort of credit or freebie, though. The coupons that expire on 12/1/2009 are ok but probably won't get used since the deadline is next week. Overall a success.

The party was relaxing! All my guest had fun, especially my daughter, whom I designated photographer for the day. There are a few drawbacks.
First, what am I to do with all these coupons. I left a few at the doctors office that I visited. But what about the rest?
Secondly, the 40% off coupon is awesome, BUT I had a guest that had already done some research and had ordered things through other websites contradicting what Kodak had to offer. She pointed out how much cheaper things were on the other websites were, even if the 40% coupon was applied.
Thirdly, why does the coupon expire so quickly. I love the fact that there is a discount, but to have it expire within a few weeks, not cool.

Didn't have as big a turnout as I'd hoped thanks to our football team being in the playoffs - GO WARRIORS! But we had a great time! Everyone loved the coupons - I was hoping that people could use them more than 1 time, but in reading some of the comments, it doesn't look that way. :( With the party favors, everyone got some GREAT ideas for gifts - and they loved the book, mug and cards I made for the party! I've used Kodak Gallery before, but others hadn't. I've been handing out the coupons to others at work, and other friends who couldn't attend - it's great timing for the holiday - but I do wish they didn't expire so soon! The word is spreading - I still can't get my pics to load up into House Party, but love Kodak Gallery!

We had such a great time! The only comment that I would make would be that the coupons expire too soon. 2 weeks was not enough for some of my older guests. My coupons expire 12/1 and it would be nice for them to expire on 12/25, as this was a Holiday Party. Other than that, a GREAT time and everyone was surprised at how easy it was to make great gifts.

The party was small and personal ... and a great hit. I think people were blown away with the quality of the items and ease at which they could be made. They especially loved a note card I made with a single bloom from my garden .... artist quality and could see several gift items to make.

Thank you for selecting me to host... it was fun. I also passed many coupons out and displayed the items in my office to my camera club buddies.

My only negative was with using the House Party site. My guests found it confusing and some never received the emailed invite. I had to actually send a separate email note to several saying they didn't have to buy anything at my party .... just come.

Recap ... Party and products a huge success, invite website not so much.

My guests loved everything I had to show them! They were especially impressed with the photo books quality and picture clarity. We talked about all the different gifts that could be done for the holidays and how easy the photo book software was to use. They seemed to be excited to use their coupon & pass them along to friends and family. Thank you Kodak, I really enjoyed hosting this party:-)

It seems there is something on the coupon or Kodak account that won't let guests use more than one 40% off coupon, despite attempting to use them for separate orders. Kind of a crappy deal if you are trying to order things and have them sent to someone else... Some of my guests were mother/daughter or husband/wife and didn't want to create separate accounts, but have found that they cannot place separate orders - it will only let them use one coupon one time. Would have been nice to know in advance so I could let them know before!
Also, for those of you trying to order prints, the coupon says on it that it will not apply to 9cent prints. I assume it will work on other sizes, but haven't tried it myself.

Everyone was just floored by the Photo Book and Mug. They couldn't get over how cute the Mug was and how heavy it was. I showed them how well packaged it was when it arrived in the mail and they were impressed with that also. The Photo Book was displayed on a one of little holders you display a pretty plate on. The Memory Book was so nice that others are going to order Memory Books and give the little plate holders for the person to set their gift books on. We were expecting really nasty weather but it held off till after the party time. What can I say who doesn't like 40% off coupons. That was a really nice help for their Christmas Budgets.
