I don’t often forget stuff, but sometimes things slip my mind. For example, I’ll leave the chicken in the oven too long or I’ll forget to TiVo “Battlestar Galactica.” Thankfully, my smartphone makes sure that never happens anymore thanks to its handy voice memos! This feature is definitely helping out while I plan my Treo™ Fiesta House Party.

If you have a PalmOS device, just go to Applications, select Voice Memo, press and hold the Side button while you record. After you’re done, just release the Side button. You can also enter a title for your memo to help you locate it in the future.  Oh, and if you’re using a Windows Mobile device, it’s just as easy: press start, select Programs, and Notes. To add a recording to a note, open the note you want to add it too. To create a new note altogether, press Menu and select View Recording Toolbar. Select the red record icon to start.
