July 19th will be here before you know it so let the fun begin now.  It’s time to think about the specifics of your “Brunch with Baby” House Party.

  • What healthy foods should I serve?
  • Should I make it pot luck?
  • How am I going to decorate?
  • What activities should I plan for babies and moms?
  • What “extras” will make the party more fun?

For more ideas, go to party favors on your site. Take a look at the party activities sheet for plenty of fun suggestions and also review the nutrition fact sheet for helpful nutrition information to share with your guests.

What are you planning to serve at your party?

I am sooo excited for the party.. I have already opened the boxes and made some gift bags. I found gerber onesies on sale at Babies R Us this Saturday and bought some packages(with the coupons) for the baby guests. I have also included some stickers, choclates and sample baby items in the gift bags.

I am making some finger food for babies and snacks for the moms.

As this is my first house party I am all excited..

So we have games we're playing..two for the babies and one for the moms...yes babies play games too!!!
The mom's game is going to be a taste test.. We're going to take three flavors of gerber organic, and three exact same flavors of another anonymous brand...each mom can taste the same flavor from the different brand and vote which is better.
Baby game 1 is finger painting with baby food--cuz what else do you do with the other brand after you'v e tasted organic baby food from gerber?
Baby game 2 is messy baby photos...Of course we'll be outside, and the babys can taste their new food--with their hands...we'll take pics of the babies, and then have a vote online with our mommy group on who's the messiest!

Our party is taking place at a local park, so everyone is bringing their own lunch. I am suppling the baby food and yummy cupcakes made with the baby food. I thought this was a simple way to spread the news about Gerber Organic without driving myself crazy! If the weather is super hot, we will invite everyone back to our house to cool off in the pool.

We are so excited for this party. We live near an organic farm and so our plan is to introduce our friends to the wonders of organic farming. We are also going to incorporate information on rain barrels and how you can also help the environment.

We are all bringing either a organic veggie or fruit and making a soup and fruit salad out of organic items. This way our babies can eat organic and we can munch on organic yummies also.

Thanks! This party will definitely be...MESSY! Haha. I'm also making bibs, printed fabric on one side and white on the other so the moms can decorate the white side of their bib with fabric markers.

I'm doing a pot luck party and told everyone that it has to be a healthy item. Well also have the back yard open for all the kids to play. There are lots of "big" toys out there for then to play on. I also think about 8 kids can fit in the sand box that we have.

I like the idea of a potluck. I think that I will wait to figure out what I will be serving until I find out what we will be serving the babies, maybe try to feed us mommies the same, just not pureed. I have no ideas so far on acitvities for the babes, mom's or siblings. That will probably come a little later when I know who will be coming . Any suggestions would be great.

See as this is a "brunch" I am doing a waldorf chicken salad served in whole wheat pita. And for the drinks I'm serving Iced tea with a couple of frozen peach slices as "ice cubes" in each glass (for added frills you can serve these in wine glasses!). For an activity I'm making baby bibs, and one side will be a printed fabric the other side will be white so the mom's can decorate the bibs with fabric markers. Since most of the mom's have older kids who will be joining my 3 year old I'll serve them PB&J, animal crackers, and juice. **All food is organic! I'm too crunchy not to.

How did you find out about the contents of the box? Do you know if the baby food containers are glass or plastic?

I am planning on a playdate for the babies/toddlers with a music theme where they will all play an instrument like tamborines or shakers. then we will sample all the Gerber 2nd foods that are in the package while the adults get great tips for nutrition. for the adults I like the idea of potluck, thanks houseparty. I will start purchasing some additional Gerber feeding accessories likes spoons and sippy cups and buy bibs for all my little guests to add to the party favor bags. I will also download and print the nutrition info for the party bags and Gerber logos from the party favors page to decorate with.

I wasn't selected to host this house party but there are alot of babies around me so we are having a party anyway, We will serve gerber juice and Gerber fruit snacks to start, and we will make Gerber puffs bracelets for all the little ones. There are alot of Gerber graduate foods that I will have at the party for EVERYONE to taste. Cheese and crackers are always good, I'll have a vegetable tray and dip also. But I am having trouble with decorating for the party, I dont want it to look like a baby shower but every thing I think of does. Any one with some ideas. Thanks, and have a blast with the babies at your party.

I really wish we knew what was coming in the kit so we could plan. Are we just getting purees? How about like the puffs and that kind of thing? I feel like I could plan a lot better if I had more info.
