WhooHoo, today is the day!! I'm so excited. I have been tempted all week to sit and watch the show but I've been good. Menu is ready, house is getting decorated, viewing area is gonna be cozy with pillows and candlelight. Just have to make a quick ice run/few more drinks and we are 100% good to go! I'm glad more people are using the dessert idea! Hope everyone has a great night and if your party was yesterday, can't wait to see pics!

I have to make one last trip to town for last minute party stuff. I love planning the House Parties, we have just as much fun before as during the actual party. The anticipation of our guests is always high as they wonder what we have planned. This one has a bunch of legal TV show freaks very excited about a new show for them to enjoy. Break a leg everyone!

I love the innocent and guilty dessert theme! I'll be stealing that too. I am having low carb party foods because we're having a girls night in party and everybody is watching what they eat (so they can drink what they want!!! - Some frozen concoctions and wines). Thanks HouseParty and TNT - this will be a lot of fun.

My friends and I can't wait for the party! I like the "innocent" and "guilty" sides of the dessert table, I'm "stealing" this one too! I also like the "name that theme music" game with legal shows. I love all the wonderful ideas I'm getting here, thanks everyone for sharing!

Can't wait for the party (I've been trying to refrain from being guilty of watching the show early haha). I could n't come up with a legal themed menu so I've decided on "finger food" so everyone can munch in front of the tv. We'll be having soy sauced chicken wings, chili-ginger chicken bites, and mini-mexian meat pies along with a vegi tray & dip. I did steal the dessert idea and am having an "innocent" side with fresh fruits and a "guilty" side with brownie bites, chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels and marshmellows.
I printed out silly laws for Michigan for everyones guest bags along with the getting to know the cast and note pads & pens.
I downloaded some theme music from some other legal shows so we can have a "guess the show" (Hawii 5-0; Perry Mason, ect) before we air Raising the Bar. Now I just have to come up with a prize bag for the winner.
I printed out legal terms and have them on colored paper all over the room we're watching the show in too.

I can't wait, I am sooo excited. As the host it will be providing the cocktail bar and my guest will either bring something for the snack bar or appitizer bar. This will all be finger foods for TV. Everyone will also name thier dish and drinks after legal terms. We are also going to do a mock jusy case for them to participate in with guilty and not guilty paddles. I hope this goes off well. Of course I will use the "Silly Laws" as ice breakers and the TNT LOGOS on the house doors"WE KNOW DRAMA" See you after the party.
