I think I have decided to make the Minestrone from the Alli cookbook and an Italian-ish salad to go with it, maybe some low cal bread sticks on the side.

I have made the Jello pudding and cool whip dip before, but I add about a 1/4 cup of diet lemon lime soda and the flavor of pudding mix I use is white chocolate and we dip strawberries in it....YUM!

I wish the recipes were more vegetarian-friendly. There are very few savory recipes that don't contain meat, which makes them rather useless for me and the other meat-free dieters I know.

This is a cookie I am going to serve. I've made it before and it's really good. Check it out, it's low cal and way low fat.

I've been having a heck of a time getting on the myalliplan.com. It's always so slow for me and I'm cable! Drives me nuts. However, when I have gotten on I've been able to look at some of the recipes. I've already tried out a few and they are just fantastic.

Those cookies sound so good! I will definitely have to give those a try!

Paula Sue,
You might also try the Kraft Fat Free Mayo in your dip. Absolutely no fat, 10 cal. per serving. I use it all the time and no one has ever noticed a difference. It tastes great.

The cookies sound Yummy!

I LOVE dip, not usually a good idea on my New Life plan so I had to find new ones to hit the spot but keep me on track.

First one I like...1 cup low fat sour creme and 1 cup low fat mayo and 4 heaping Tablespoons of TS Fiesta Party Dip. (I like spicy so you may want to lower the amount of spice.) Refrig it over night, it really tastes better the next day. Serve with veggies, crackers or pretzels.

The next one is my favorite! 1 box of "diet" any flavor pudding, 1 bowl of low fat cool whip. (If you do a "white-ish color" pudding you can tint it with food coloring to match your party theme.) I use it as a fruit dip, with graham crackers, teddie grahams are cute for the kids, and just like that in place of ice cream. White Chocolate pudding is the best, IMO for this.

I have had many requests for this even from the Preschool teachers for teacher get-togethers and for snack time with the children.

These are awsome and cheap to make! Every Alli Hp should have these on hand!
Low-fat chocolate chip cookies

1oz margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar (not packed)
2 tablespoons apple sauce, unsweetened
1 egg white
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat margarine, granulated sugar, brown sugar in large mixer bowl. Add egg white, vanilla and applesauce. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Fold in mini chips. Scoop into 25 balls and flatten slightly onto parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes

Yields 25 cookies. Per serving 1.5 grams of fat - 62 calories (alli snack = 2 cookies)

Tip: For some added flavor, try replacing the vanilla with Mexican vanilla
