My boys had the best time at their party. Apparantly thier friends did as well, since I am told that it is the talk of the school. They loved the masks and used the glow sticks as mini light sabers. The had the best time, and they are all hooked on the show now!

My son had an absolute blast at our party. He had 8 friends come over and they watched the DVD twice! They played with the masks and threw popcorn at each other :)

The glow sticks were a big hit after the sun went down.

The party was awesome. The kids (young and old) loved the show, I did not tell them about the bonus show. This was a hit as well. The kids loved all the goodies they got, playing Jedi Games and eating Star Wars inspired food. Thank you so much HP and CN for all the great things that went with this party. The kids will be talking about this one for a long time.

We had such a great party!!! Everyone was so excited. The parents couldn't get over how realistic the masks were and the kids wore them almost the entire time! They immediately got into character when they put them on and it was so cute. We played a "Jedi Training" game where the guests had to guess different smells and put their hands in bags and guess the items. It went over very well. We served clone cupcakes, yoda soda, light saber pretzel rods and other snacks. We had popcorn during the movie. The parents all knew about the premier of The Clone Wars on CN next week, and they thought we had made a mistake about showing the episode. They were very excited to learn that we had been sent the dvd to watch before it airs. Woo Hoo! They said we should have rolled out a red carpet! They also wanted to know how they could join House Party. RATS! lol The kids loved the movie for the first 30 minutes, but had to get up and "act out" the scenes during the showing. My kids, however, have watched it twice since the party! Thanks so much House Party & Cartoon Network for selecting us to host this party. I can't tell you how happy you made my kids and their friends!

I had about 25 kids and they had a ball I forgot to mention in my first message that When they first came in I was playing the star wars music and had the kids draw a star wars character.

We had yoda soda but I made it a little different at the last minute. I used Artic green apple koolaide and added ginger ale in it the kids were going crazy because the koolaid tingles your mouth with a cool mint taste at the back of your throat. They were siked about that asking where did you get this from. I said, "Yoda sent it to me in the mail".

The goodie bags had so much stuff in them.

Thanks again HP and Cartoon Network I hope to get to host again it was great. I also was asked all night how they could get to host a party like this so look for alot of registrations coming.

Thanks so much to Cartoon Network and Houseparty. Our party was a blast. We had 12 kids and 5 adults. All the kids dressed up and brought lightsabers. We ate Yoda popcorn, Yoda and Sith Soda, Darth chips with Sith dip, pretzelsabers and M&Ms separated into Good and Evil colors. I bought a larger poster for "stick the lightsaber in Yoda's hands" and the kids decorated their individual lightsabers. I am exhausted but the kids had so much fun and I am the coolest Mom ever! Thanks again.

Thank you houseparty and cartoon network!! We had a total of 56 people in attendance at our shin-dig. Although the DVD was a little bit long for some of our younger guests, the older boys and several of the parents couldn't stop watching. We served Star Wars themed snacks such as "R2-Meatballs", "Beverage of the Sith", "Dagobah Swamp Dip" and "Darkside Chocolate Cake". I think the guests really enjoyed their homemade t-shirts and goody bags, and although I'm exhausted I would do it again in a heartbeat! (Will post pics as soon as I can.) Thanks again HP and CN!!

We had a blast so....huge thanks to houseparty and Hasbro! We had the theme song to Star Wars playing as the kiddos walked in the house. We chose gift bags and masks. The kiddos were encouraged to bring their lightsabers or Star Wars toys. We played with those before settling in for the main event. THE MOVIE. I was made to turn down the lights for a theater effect :) We also enjoyed our themed foods!

It's over and WOW it's quiet! It was a load of fun and it went too fast. The kids were hyper excited to begin and do everything at once. I encouraged all the kids invited to bring their lightsabers and boy did they! Some brought 2 and one brought 5! They played Jedi vs. Sith outside while I got the popcorn and the drinks together. Brought them in handed them popcorn and drinks and we all watched the show! It's was too cool. After we had pizza and snacks and we went out to begin the games. We had Asteroid hunt with prize cards inside. Then we played pin the ear on Yoda and lightsaber training game where each got a balloon and the last one to keep the balloon from falling on the ground won a prize. That was the best. Then I fed them lightsaber cake and ice cream. Then we had one get sick on our deck. Ya, that was fun. Then we (some) let our balloons go after the party. I hope to get our pics and vids up soon for ya. When they all left I gave them their party bags. Brilliant party! Thanks House Party and Cartoon Network!!!!

We had Jedi Punch, Dark Side Soda and Padme Punch for beverages. My hubby and I will finish the leftovers tonight while we watch the DVD after the kids go to bed.

Thanks Cartoon Network and Hoseparty. That was a lot of fun. All the kids had a blast and want to see the show again. They can't wait for the new series to be here. Any reason to get friends and family together is a good one, but this was one of the funnest yet.

Thanks houseparty and Cartoon Network! I never thought I would be selected to host the party, since it seemed too much of a coincidence that it lined up with my son's 9th birthday. Everything went great! I sent out personalized Star Wars invitations inviting each child to bring along a lightsaber. How many parents actually encourage that?! There were 7 guests along with my son, so everyone got a goody bag with everything that houseparty sent, and then I created a personalized Jedi Training Manual with all of the printables from the Star Wars website, and included the push pencil and push crayons from the Target dollar section. I also bought the Clone Wars cups, plates, napkins and bags from Target. We made lightsaber pretzels in blue and red and my mother made a Yoda cake. We served popcorn while they watched the show and pizza afterwards. I did make a version of Yoda soda (green Hawaiian Punch with matching ice cubes and Sierra Mist). My son was a little disappointed when all of the gifts turned out to be Star Wars related, but he got over it pretty quickly (he's off building the Legos right now).

As for the show, the kids seemed to like it, although those that saw the Clone Wars movie said that it was lacking. We did have one little snag - while I had tried out the DVD and timed it, I didn't try it on the DVD player we would be watching it on. Surprise, surprise, it didn't work! fortunately we took my son's portable DVD player, hooked that up to the tv, and the kids were able to watch it (after a 15 minute delay - although it gave them more time to play!).

I would definitely be interested in hosting another houseparty!

We had a blast at yesterday's party!!! We had 15 kids plus 10 adults and we started them out by feeding them pizza and then they watched the premiere on our projection TV and then played "pass the death star," "lightsaber training (keeping the balloon off the ground and passing it to the next person)," and "anakin says... (like simon says)," and clone wars bingo. The party was such fun all the parents wanted to stay and party with us!!!! Thanks houseparty and Cartoon Network for making our son's 10th birthday the BEST ever!!!
