I bought some dish towels, kitchen tools and a Rachel Ray paring knife to give away as door prizes. Now I just need to think of some ways to distribute them (games, etc.)...any ideas?

I am excited. I want to come up with some games for the party, and do prizes. I pulled the music lyric one off of party favors. I think I will make up some puzzles such as word finds, scrambles, etc. also. I might come up with a holiday game as well. You wrap a gift several time. You then play music and everyone passes the gift around. When the music stops, that person unwraps a layer of paper. Repeate the steps all over again. Whoever unwraps the last layer, gets the present. If anyone has other ideas, please let me know.

Got my package yesturday, but still haven't figured out how to give out all the goodies! I like the stocking idea, but does anyone have any other ideas on what to put all the coupons and books in (looking for something not to expensive)? I work with most of my guests, so we drew recipes from the recipe tin and whatever we picked, we have to make. I can't wait to try everyting!

I like the ideas about collecting for the local food bank at this party. It's a great way to help out those in need while we're partying it up.

There are so many receipes that contain cream cheese, I can't deciede what to make!!
I'm excited to see all the recipes in the package. I'm so tired of bringing the same dishes to holiday parties. It's time for some variety. I'm happy the package is shipping so far ahead of time. It will give me some extra time to figuire out the food and decorations. I'm still not sure how to decorate. I thought about putting up some xmas decorations to set the mood along with the decorations but I think my husband will have a cow if xmas stuff goes up before Thanksgiving!

I had a good idea. Not only do I want guests to bring an unwrapped toy to donate, but I thought it would be nice to give them the option too to bring some non-perishable foods to donate to the local food bank. Our local food bank also accepts coats, mittens, gloves and boots, so I asked that they bring any they might have and I could drop them off with any food donations too.
What foods have people decided to make? I'm still up in the air. There are so many awesome recipes using the Philly Cream Cheese that it's hard to narrow it down! LOL!!!

Cheese Cheese and more cheese. I am planning on having a "try it before the holiday" party where everyone can bring a new cheese recipe to try on each other before trying it on their relatives. Anyone know when the package is to arrive?
