Movie Talk!

From the New Xbox Experience House Party Event

The New Xbox Experience House Party is all about quickly and easily transforming your home into “movie central.

Here are some ideas that will keep the movie buzz going all night long:

  • Play movie trivia
  • Play movie charades
  • Act out a scene from a favorite movie
  • Discuss the advantages of the Xbox/Netflix approach to viewing movies

Hosts and guests: share your party ideas!

  • When the update is complete, your system will reboot and you should be good to go with Xbox LIVE.

I contacted them and it said DHL delivered our Surprise Box on Monday...nope, I was here all day :-( The neighbors don't have it either.

They said they will *try* to get us the Scene It again...if they have enough.

I'm really bummed about this, and my guests will be too if we don't get that part of it.

I've Invited all My Freind wheather they Had a 360, ps3, or WII I want to Show them Exactly what all the Hype is About now with Armed With Netflix , This is going to be a fun Party.. I can see the entertainment now. Already going to have 3 360's set up.. Scene it what a great Edition to the Party. WOOT WOOT! RockBand and Refreshment. My Guests are going to Enjoy Thank YOU!

XBOX and Microsoft did a great job with this one. We invited half & half that own an XBOX. This way the ones that own already can have fun with the new game and those that don't own an XBOX will want to go out and buy one. FUN!!!

We just got our suprise package and I could not be more excited. We have the first Xbox SceneIt game and it rocks. I wanted this new version but didn't want to have to pay 59.99. Thanks House party and Microsoft!

I can't wait to get the surprise game. After we use it for the party I am going to send it to my nephew. He is in the Navy and they are always looking for things to do on their time off. I think they will love it.

The special box just arrived and WOW are we excited! It came via DHL. The box is about the size of a loaf of bread, so keep your eye out for it!

"Scene it" with four wireless remote controllers to answer the questions. It says "All New movie clips and trivia" and is called "Box Office Smash!" on the box, the game and controllers are all inside.

I am posting a picture on my party site now (mommydee).

Can't wait for this party....now to decide what movie to watch? I guess we'll have to vote...or maybe we'll let the winner of the trivia sheet choose. I can't believe how excited my bf was when I told him about the trivia sheet...more than the rest of it Ithink....and finally....a way for me to use the xbox not just watching him play games all day...can't wait!

Scene It!!!!! No way!!!! We haven't gotten any packages yet. I hope mine comes on Monday.

My husband and I love the 360 and Netflix. I watch a lot of the instant TV shows and movies on our laptop. It is going to be great to now watch them through the Xbox on the big screen TV instead.

I think we'll be doing a themed marathon party. Like a Dr. Who marathon, or maybe a super hero's marathon. Or maybe even a kung fu marathon. I guess I should find out what my husband and his friends like best since I'm throwing this party for them.
