I'm wondering...if someone comes to our party and is wearing a shirt or hat with a team logo - is that okay to post? I understand we can't post the actual *NFL or team logo* (on it's own, like a "sticker" or something) since the NFL/team owns the copyright to that - but we don't have to edit all our photos to cut/blur people's clothing, do we?

admin-khavraniak , thanks for adding that. I'd already cropped some of the photos, but they really didn't look right. thanks for adding that.

If your clothing has the NFL shield anywhere on it ...then it is a licensed apparel of the NFL and that's what you need to blur out...

This is a totally unfair rule because everyone at my party last night came in full team gear. It's a football party, obviously people are going to were football attire. Oh well, guess I won't have many pictures to upload. Bummer.

We hope everyone enjoys their upcoming ESPN Fantasy Football Draft. Please wear whatever you'd like to support your favorite team and/or player.
However, when it comes time to posting pictures on the national page, unfortunately we are unable to use pictures that include other company's intellectual property (which includes NFL logos, etc.).

I wouldn't worry about that. Wearing official NFL clothing or posting pictures with the same on this site is likely not actionable, and even if it were, the NFL isn't going to come after you. This is not a serious issue, especially since you or the people at your party aren't profiting in any way.

I'd heard the NFL was really cracking down with their logos so I wouldn't be surprised to hear that we will have to blur logos on clothing. I may pass the word to all the guys not to bring/wear anything with a team logo on it just to keep me from having to edit photos like crazy.

I think clothing counts if it has visible NFL logos or an NFL player's name. I'm wondering though if we can't wear a shirt with at least the team name on it. It's not exactly a logo. If my shirt just says Cowboys on the front and has no visible star logo, is there a problem with that?
