Free Kids Books From Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble have a sweet program set up for kids in grades 1 through 6 this summer where if they read eight books, they can receive a free book.
Barnes & Noble has launched their 2009 Summer Reading Program Kids can earn a free book when they read 8 books this summer. What a fun way to encourage continued learning over the long summer months.

Scholastic Summer Challenge - Earn points by reading and playing games on their site and in exchange kids can use the points for prizes and sweepstakes entries.

Pottery Barn Book Club - This is actually an ongoing program where they hold a storytime on Tuesdays from 11 to 11:30 am. Once your kid attends 5 sessions and has their booklet stamped, they get a reward.

Kid's H. E. Buddy Shirt for Reading - Mail In
HEB has a wonderful program running to get your child reading this summer. Your child (or you) will read 10 books and complete the mail-in form and in return they will receive a cool H.E. Buddy Kids T-Shirt free of charge.
