Ingredients:

• 1 medium onion, sliced
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/2 medium green pepper, sliced julienne
• 1/2 medium red pepper, sliced julienne
• 1/2 medium yellow pepper, sliced julienne
• 1 tbsp. Cajun blackening seasoning
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 4 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
• 5 hoagie rolls, split
• 1 (5-6 links) pkg. Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage Links (try the Honey BBQ variety)

Directions:

  • Combine first seven ingredients in a bowl; toss to coat.
  • Spread 1/2 of butter evenly on the split side of each hoagie roll. In a skillet over medium heat, toast the rolls until golden; set aside.
  • In the same skillet, over medium heat, melt remaining butter. Add vegetable mix and toss to coat.
  • Place links on top of vegetables in skillet and heat for 15-20 minutes, turning the mixture frequently.
  • Once heated through, remove links from skillet and place on toasted rolls. Top with sautéed vegetables and serve.
