Original Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup. Brown Sugar, packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3/4 cup White Corn Srup
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 9" unbaked pie crust

Directions:

Combine softened butter and brown sugar until well blended.  Add each of the remaining items one at a time and blend well before adding the next item. 

Pour into unbaked pie crust. 

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. 

Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake additional 30 minutes or until center is firm.
