Several of us are going to have Planning Party just to get ready for the holidays. 

 

I have two ovens and large kitchen area to work so it makes for a central location.

We are meeting this week to set a calendar of baking dates, crafting dates and also a day to write all those holiday greeting cards, messages, etc.  With so many of us working full time and other family committments it is the only way to maximize our time.  Not everyone will be able to make each event, but it will help us work with all schedules so that people can attend the events they want.  I can't wait.

Supplies:

Calendars -

Date for holiday note writing/cards.  Getting stamps, etc. ready.

Date for Cookie making - cookie swaps.  We will do several.  Make list of what everyone should bring for event. 

Date for other holiday baking and cooking like Candies/Bread making - Rolls, Bread and family favorites.

We will work toward making items and distributing them throughout the holidays.  We have been making gift (food) baskets for about 15 years now.  Each year we add a few more folks so we add additional cooking days.
