Ingredients:
Have guest write their name on a QUART SIZE ZIPLOC FREEZER BAG with permanent marker. Arrange a variety of ingredients such as ham, onions, green pepper, tomato, mushrooms, black olives, sundried tomatoes, cream cheese, the sky's the limit!
Directions:
Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag and shake shake shake to combine them. Each guest adds ingredients of choice to their bag and gives it a shake. Make sure to remove the air fom the bag and zip it up.
Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6 - 8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water.
Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.
Put omelet on a plate and top with cheese and salsa.
Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake, everyone will be involved in the process and it makes an excellent conversation piece, plus everyone gets their omelet "made to order".
If you plan on making a quantity of omelets, mix up all the eggs at once and pur the amount for each person into the bag.
IMPORTANT:
USE ZIPLOC FREEZER BAGS, NEVER SANDWICH, THEY MELT!
Yield:
made to order omelets

This is a favorite of my Brother for scouting events. They have been doing this for years.
