Description:

This is a cutie craft the kids will have fun with, hang it anywhere!  and it qualifies as green using the ring one stares at wondering what other use it could possibly have,  viola!

Watch a step-by-step video demonstration of this craft.

  Materials

 • 2 green glitter pipe cleaners (we used 6mm-wide nylon glitter ones)
• Scissors
• Ring from the neck of a soda or water bottle (the piece that locks the lid before the bottle is opened; pry off with a spoon if necessary)
• Short length of narrow ribbon for a bow • Miniature accent such as a reindeer or bird, anything festive onhand.
• Craft glue
• Fishing line or narrow ribbon for a hanger

1. Wrap one end of a pipe cleaner firmly around the bottle ring. Continue wrapping until the ring is covered in snug coils. If necessary, add a second pipe cleaner. Trim any excess pipe cleaner.

2. Tie on a ribbon bow and, if you like, glue on a reindeer, bird, or other accent. Let the glue dry.

3. Use fishing line or narrow ribbon to hang the wreath.
