Gifts in a jar

Description:
This homemade gift is as thoughtful as it is easy. Just choose your favorite baked good recipe, and find a jar. Incredibly, I found awesome mason jars at the $ store that worked well, (the bigger size ones). This project is really so much fun and so appreciated as a gift, the receiver is usually so happy to have cookies, pancakes, whatever all ready to put together....There are several good sites offering recipes and labels to download, here is just one:

if you scroll down it shows recipes, cards for muffins, sugar cookies and other excellent choices. So, chose your recipe, pack into a mason jar (use a spice jar to pack it in, it works well as a tool), print out the recipe and card to attach, cover lid with fabric if you like, attach the label and give as a gift to teachers, friends, family, whomever. My son does not enjoy crafts, I have tried calling it "art" recently and he LOVED this activity. Look online for other gifts in jars and recipes and labels to download, they are out there, I have found many. Or use your own recipes and make your own labels. It really is a fun gift and one the recipient enjoys!
here are some really nice Valentine printables for gifts in a jar:
