Floating garden centerpieces

 I love this, so much easier than floating candles which I also love:

You'll Need

• 6 mums, or any fresh flowers
• A glass chip-and-dip bowl
• 1 pillar candle
• Pinecone florets (available at craft stores)
• Dried star anise

1. Trim the stems off the flowers. .

2. Fill the bowl with water until it's two-thirds full.

3. Place the candle in the center where the dip usually goes; surround it with flowers. Add pinecone florets and star anise at random throughout.
