Salsa Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 pound large shrimp peeled & deveined

1 16 ounce jar salsa ( any variety ) could be mild,medium your choice

1/4 cup butter

1 lemon

1 large skillet

1 blender (if you don't have 1 you can still make it)

2 bowls

1 platter

 

Directions:

rinse off your shrimp & put aside in a bowl

pour the salsa into your blender,put it on mix for about 30-45 seconds

pour 3/4 of the salsa into a bowl & add your shrimp. leave the other 1/4 of salsa in the blender

mix the shrimp around until coated

on a medium flame , place your butter into the skillet, once melted add your shrimp.

stir them around until cooked ( should take no more then 5 minutes to cook)

once cooked place the shrimp on the platter, pour the remaining salsa into a small bowl to use for dip

this can be used as an appertizer or for a main meal
