Easy Strawberry Christmas Breakfast Ice Cream

posted by thesneakychef

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups frozen strawberries, without syrup or added sweeteners
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon honey or sugar

Topping:
Squirt of canned whipped cream and a few green sprinkles or green sugar

Directions:

This fun breakfast ice cream is so delicious your mind will have a hard time convincing your body it’s healthy! But with a full serving and fruit and milk (and even avocado in the second version that's posted separately), it’s an ideal way to start any day (plus it’s super fast to make). A food processor is the only way to puree the frozen fruit without having to add a lot of liquid—and for these small quantities, a 3-cup mini food processor works best. The recipe can be quickly converted to a thinner smoothie by adding an extra one-half cup of milk to all the variations below and then mixing them in the blender.
